After the first meeting of this trio, a concert in Reykjavík and then one in the northern city of Iceland called Akureyri, they took an early flight back to Reykjavík and went directly into the studio to record this album in one day. The result displays the energy of a process of collaboration and true spirit of connectivity. What?

Angelika and Scott met at the Moers Jazz Festival and the idea for a trio was born with guitarist Hilmar Jensson. McLemore and Jensson both live in Iceland and Niescier is based in Cologne, Germany.
